Jacksonville, FL, July 20, 2021 — North Star Place Branding + Marketing recently developed a new brand platform for Union County, NC as well as several Union County department identities.

The new “Plant Your Future” brand was unveiled in June after several months of community input from more than 200 local leaders and stakeholders within the county and region to help discover what is unique about Union County. Over 500 county residents took part in the community survey which aided in the research to develop the strategy and creative brand.

Four Union County departments also have new, refreshed looks that tie into the County’s new brand. The departments that are debuting a new identity include the Library, Parks and Recreation, Emergency Services, and Water (formerly Public Works). There now is a consistent look with distinguishing features for each.

Partnering organizations involved with the branding campaign include the Union County Library Foundation, Friends of the Library, Monroe-Union County Economic Development, and Union County Board of Elections. New logos for each of these organizations are in development.
