The U.S. Travel Association is doing their job and then some. They’ve put together a national campaign, Let’s Go There, with a toolkit for destinations and places like yours to inspire people to make travel plans again. For those not quite ready to promote travel, there’s the Let’s Go There, Soon campaign. The benefit for your DMO is to be able to tap into a national conversation and movement.
“The Let’s Go There campaign will inspire Americans to do what is exciting, safe and productive: make plans to travel. Through a phased and layered approach, this integrated, multi-channel consumer campaign will fill the media ecosystem and create an echo chamber across the industry.”
Click here to learn about the program and how your destination can participate, including a no cost promotional tool kit. Owned channels will be the backbone of the campaign. You can use the logo and campaign “Therefinder” that allows you to customize your imagery and align with the national campaign. There are also levels of investment to participate on the media promotion side of the program.
