North Star Uncovers Brands for New Client Communities

From our home state of Florida to the northeast and west coast, North Star is helping communities discover their identities and leverage their strengths. We’re thrilled to have projects underway in these communities, and we look forward to seeing these unique brands come to life.

Celina, Texas

The U.S. Census Bureau listed this Dallas-Fort Worth suburb as the fastest growing city in the country from 2022 to 2023. The metroplex continues to boom, and the City of Celina is feeling the positive effects. Big brand names are expanding into the community’s commercial corridor, and thousands of homes are under construction to accommodate the growing population. Even so, Celina retains its natural charm and small-town feel in its historic downtown square. The quintessential Texas spirit lives on here, while downtown preservation and economic development efforts propel Celina into an exciting future.

East Hartford, Connecticut

The Connecticut River separates East Hartford from its namesake city and state capital, but the Town is forming an identity in its own right. East Hartford is the home base of renowned aerospace manufacturer Pratt & Whitney, which acts as an economic engine in the region. Takeoffs turn to touchdowns at Rentschler Field, where fans cheer on the University of Connecticut Huskies football team each fall. A new Town brand is just one piece of East Hartford’s reinvention efforts, as economic investment and riverfront redevelopment are priorities to create a flourishing community.

Greenacres, Florida

At the center of the hustle and bustle in Palm Beach County, Greenacres is a natural haven. With a name like Greenacres, it makes sense that the parks and open spaces are key assets in the community. The City boasts another strength in its cultural richness, seen in its hundreds of restaurants and dynamic festivals. Families of all backgrounds find an open invitation to build their own version of the American dream here—in a home that encourages them to grow.

Hemet, California

The City of Hemet is well known for bringing history to life. The Ramona Bowl Amphitheatre annually hosts California’s Official Outdoor Play, telling a touching story of love and loss set in the mid-1800s. Those who appreciate ancient history learn about mastodons and pre-historic California at the Western Science Center. Hemet benefits from its location in one of the nation’s fastest-growing counties and accessibility to Los Angeles, yet residents enjoy a relaxed lifestyle with natural space in Hemet. The City is purposefully investing in its place, forming a consistent identity, funding downtown renovations, and attracting strong businesses.

Lauderhill, Florida

Excitement in “The Cricket Capital of the U.S.” doesn’t end on the field! Interestingly, the City of Lauderhill has a long history in sports and was once a top golfing destination. Now, the community blends its country club roots with diverse cultural offerings: Lauderhill has become a hot spot for Caribbean food and colorful festivals, adding flavor and fun to South Florida’s vibrant lifestyle. The City hopes that residents, whether in the stands or around the dinner table, feel proud of a community with such great heritage and potential.
